Not every business owner needs — or wants — a structured mentoring programme.
Sometimes you simply need to sit down with someone experienced, talk through what is happening in your business and work out what to do next.
Business Mentoring – Pay As You Go gives you access to over 40 years of building very successful businesses – practical business experience, as and when you need it.
It is suitable for new start-ups, inexperienced business owners and established owner-managers who want an independent and experienced perspective on a particular issue, opportunity or decision.
We can look at virtually any aspect of running your business, including profitability, pricing, cash flow, estimating, staffing, systems, growth, management, strategy, succession — or simply a problem you can’t quite see your way through.
Sessions wil end with setting you goals and actions for the future.
You might come once to resolve a particular issue. You might come back every month or every few months when you need another sounding board. Or it could develop into a longer-term mentoring relationship.
We have made this product competitive to make it accessible.

Let me teach you all the skills you need to run a successful business.
Designed for smaller businesses – working owner managers who run a good business but have in effect created a job – but for themselves. Business owners who want to take things to the next level, who are good at what they do but have never been taught the skills required to actually run and build a successful business.
The Business Owner Apprenticeship is a long-term, one-to-one mentoring and business education programme. We meet for a substancial session every quarter with support inbetween, where I pass on the knowledge and experience I’ve gained from more than 40 years of building and running successful businesses.
We work together as your business develops, covering the skills you need at the time you need them — including finance, pricing, sales, systems, people, processes, planning, leadership and profitability.
There is no finishing line. The aim is simple: to progressively develop your knowledge, confidence and ability until the day comes when you no longer need me.

Established Businesses

Turn turnover into profit.
Designed for established businesses that already have customers, turnover and perhaps employees and a sound knowledge of business — but aren’t producing the profit, control or performance they could.
We meet every two months with support inbetween and we identify where the business is making and losing money, then work on the areas that will make the greatest difference — from financial management, pricing and margins to systems, processes, sales and operational performance.
